EPIC'S ENTERPRISE PROJECT
EPIC Social Care CIC's Enterprise Project is a socially driven initiative that empowers young people through hands-on involvement in decorating and selling high-quality, handmade dog treats. This project encourages participants to gain skills in areas such as money management, digital skills, understanding process and communication in the form of customer service skill - providing them with valuable real-world work experience.

More than just a business venture, the project nurtures personal growth and development. Participants gain a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and pride in their contributions. It helps improve communication skills, boosts self-esteem and encourages a positive work ethic in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The dog treats themselves are crafted by Nelson's Treats, a local company, ensuring quality and community collaboration. Made with wholesome ingredients like cheese, eggs, and gluten-free oat flour, our service users then add their personal flare with natural icings from coconut and purple sweet potato powder before packing and posting each order with care.

All profits are reinvested into furthering opportunities for the young adults EPIC supports, creating a cycle of empowerment and community enrichment. We also give our service users the opportunity to celebrate their successes by planning experiences paid for by profits, fostering a sense of inclusion and purpose.
By purchasing EPIC Dog Treats, customers not only support their pets' wellbeing, but also invest in the personal development of the young individuals involved in this meaningful personal development opportunity.

THE PRODUCT
Our treats have been mindfully crafted with healthy, gluten free ingredients.
Our iced treats are hand decorated and packed by EPIC service users, meaning that each bag of treats is unique, just like our EPIC group.

THE PROCESS
From start to finish, our young people lead this process and are in charge of designing the product, marketing, processing orders, packing and posting each order.
We are thrilled to be supported by Community Foundation for Merseyside for 2024/2025
