We are gathering research on the importance of communication tools for families with Neurodiversity to be able to achieve understanding of thoughts and feelings and build closer relationships.

Purpose

To gaining evidence to support funding opportunities for our future projects with a focus on benefitting individuals, families and the community. We understand the need for this project, we just need to prove it!

Project

Autism Therapy

Encouraging effective communication through story telling - The project goal is to create a book and supporting tools to help achieve better communication within neurodiverse people and their peers whilst in turn, adding to the  personal development journeys of our EPIC service users.

Our EPIC participants will be the inspiration, authors and illustrators of this project. Through a series of workshops, our young people will develop skills in team work, creative thinking and literacy whilst creating a tangible and beneficial communication tool.

EPIC day's are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9.15am-4pm

Arrival time for EPIC is between 9.15am-10am - arrival before 9.15am will NOT be permitted as social care staff will NOT be on site prior to 9.15am.

SUMMER BREAK - Monday 25th August 2025, reopening on Monday 1st September 2025

CHRISTMAS - closed from Tuesday 23rd December 2025, reopening Tuesday 6th January 2026
